Does my monitoring fee cover any service work?

No.  Customers are provided the option for a maintenance agreement at the time they sign up for security services.

Why is my first month monitoring bill more or less than my monitoring rate?

Services are not pro-rated.  Security system monitoring is billed one month in advnace, so your first bill is your first month’s service, plus one month in advance.

Will the monthly rate ever increase or decrease?

You monthly rate will not increase or decrease during your service contract.  If there rate changes after the contract is complete the customer will be contact prior to the change.

If I move, will I have to complete the terms of the monitoring contract?

Yes.  Please contact the business office for details.

How much does a battery cost?

Batteries for most standard wireless devices are $6.00 each.  They can be picked up at our business office, or we can schedule a technican to replace the battery for you.  If you do not have a maintenance agreement, then service call fees will apply.

How will my bundle discount be displayed on my bill?

YK Communications does not currently bundle their security systems with their other services for discounts at this time.

What do I have to do in order to disconnect my alarm from your service?

Customers must complete the disconnection form that was provided during the sign up process or you can come by the business office for an additional copy.
