About the WSJTGROUP Awards:
WA3LTB (Terry) is the awards manager.. The Random QSO Award
is earned by completing 15 random contacts during Random Hour.
Endorsements are available for the RQA.
The Century Grid Award is also available for working 100 grids via
HSMS. There is also a combined band award for 100 Grids for rovers.
Prior contacts using HSCW count towards the Century Grid Award.
You do
not have to be in NA to apply for these awards.
The WSJTGROUP AWARDS have filled a void by offering awards
for Meteor
Scatter only contacts. The cost for the awards is held to
only the
expense for generating the certificates and mailing. These are
quality
certificates.
N6ENU (John) handles the certificates for the NAHSMS Contests.
The
contest certificates are awarded by “time zones” thus a level playing
field is achieved
The following stations have been
Contest Managers:
K1JT ; K2TXB ; WA5UFH ; WB2FKO and N6ENU.
The NAHSMS Contests were
restarted by the WSJTGROUP with the
first contest sponsored by the group
in the Spring of 2002.
This above
link is no longer updated but it does show the calls of some of
the
earlier supporters of Meteor Scatter Contesting.
WSJTGROUP members should support HSMS
contesting!
This includes not only operating the event but submitting a
log.
