WA3LTB (Terry) is the awards manager for the WSJTGROUP RQA; CGA and IQA.

Random QSO Award (RQA)

The Random QSO Award is earned by completing 15 random contacts during Random Hour.
Endorsements are available for the RQA.  The RQA promotes the proper use of the Calling
Frequency for group "Activity Periods".

WSJT HSMS INITIAL QSO AWARD

These two awards are to acknowledge the accomplishments of HSMS operators chasing initial
contacts. Review the definition of an initial contact in the rules to better understand these standings.
Note the rules for an initials are not the same as EME Initials. All HSMS operators are encouraged
to submit your data  These standings show what is possible with HSMS. This process gives
structure to Meteor Scatter Initials, let the chase begin.

Century Grid Awards (CGA)

The Century Grid Award  is also available for working 100 grids via HSMS. There is also a
combined band award for 100 Grids for rovers. Prior contacts using HSCW count towards
the Century Grid Award. You do not have to be in NA to apply for these awards.

The Only NA HSMS Awards

The WSJTGROUP AWARDS have filled a void by offering awards for Meteor Scatter only
contacts. The cost for the awards is held to only the expense for generating the certificates and
mailing. These are quality certificates.

Awards For the NAHSMS Contests

N6ENU (John) handles the certificates for the NAHSMS Contests. The contest certificates are
awarded by “time zones” thus a level playing field is achieved.
