Since the Internet is a public resource controlled by various different
networks, it is not possible to guarantee your connect rate "through"
the internet.  This speed test utility has been configured to give you an
accurate measurement of your connect rate up to the Internet.

This test has been optimized for testing internal to the
YK Communications network and is not designed to test from the
outside back in. 

Since any Internet activity such as checking mail, updating programs,
streaming or downloading content will consume some amount of your
available bandwidth, for the most accurate results you should
shut down all other programs (including email) and any other
computers or game consoles attached to your network while
performing a speed test.

You may be required to click "High Speed" or "Low Speed" twice
to begin the testing process.
